Session Fees and Professional Services
In my work with adults, I begin with an open-ended, in-depth approach and we decide together about the appropriate frequency of sessions and length of treatment. Children and adolescents will be seen following consultation with their parents. Regular and frequent meetings with parents are considered an essential part of this work. Consultations for parent/infant therapy may be videotaped.
Typically an appointment time is established and individuals are asked to give 24 hours notice if they need to cancel an appointment. Less than 24 hours notice results in a charge for the missed session. Every effort will be made to reschedule appointments when enough notice is given.
Payment is requested at the end of the first session; going forward, individuals have the option to pay at the end of each session or after they receive a monthly bill, at their last session of the month. Adjusted fees may be arranged on an individual basis. Full fee is $300.00; a sliding scale is possible following discussion. Every effort will be made to refer the patient for lower fee treatment, if a comfortable fee arrangement is not possible. I will assist individuals with submitting bills to insurance companies; my bills include all necessary information for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.
